Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the QRZone.io (A Product of Quick Code FZE) platform and services. By using QRZone, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description
QRZone.io provides a cloud-based QR code creation, management, routing, and analytics platform. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan. QRZone reserves the right to modify, enhance, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
2. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, all activity that occurs under your account, and ensuring that your use of QRZone complies with applicable laws. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use QRZone to:
- Distribute malware, phishing content, or deceptive redirect chains
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Generate QR codes for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent platform security
- Exceed rate limits or abuse API access beyond your plan allocation
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
4. Subscription & Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are listed in USD and may be displayed in local currency equivalents. Subscription renewals occur automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.
5. Intellectual Property
QRZone retains all rights to the platform, technology, and brand assets. You retain ownership of content you create using QRZone, including QR code designs that incorporate your brand elements. QR codes generated through QRZone are licensed for your use according to your subscription plan.
6. API Usage
API access is subject to rate limits and usage quotas defined by your subscription plan. You agree to use the API in accordance with our API documentation and not to exceed allocated resources. QRZone may suspend API access for excessive or abusive usage.
7. Data Ownership and Privacy
You own the campaign data and analytics generated from your QR codes. QRZone processes this data as a service provider on your behalf. Upon account termination, you may export your data within a reasonable timeframe as defined in our Data Retention Policy.
QRZone collects and processes personal information (including QR scan data such as geolocation, device information, and internet activity data) in accordance with our Privacy Policy. For purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), QRZone acts as a "service provider" when processing scan data on your behalf -- meaning we process personal information only as necessary to provide the contracted services and do not sell, share, or retain it for our own commercial purposes beyond what is necessary to perform the services.
8. Service Availability
QRZone targets 99.9% uptime for Enterprise customers as defined in the Enterprise Service Level Agreement. Standard plans are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. Planned maintenance windows are communicated in advance.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QRZone shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice. QRZone may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms with immediate effect. Upon termination, your access to the platform ceases and data is handled according to our Data Retention Policy. You may export your data during the 30-day notice period and for 30 days after termination.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of QRZone will be resolved as follows:
- Informal Resolution: Before filing any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at legal@qrzone.io and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
- Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will take place in the State of Delaware.
- Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
- Exceptions: Either party may seek injunctive relief in the courts of Delaware for intellectual property violations or unauthorized access. Small claims court actions are also excluded from the arbitration requirement.
California Residents: Nothing in this section limits your rights under the CCPA/CPRA. You may exercise your privacy rights as described in our Privacy Policy regardless of any dispute resolution provisions.
12. US Regulatory Compliance
QRZone.io is a US-based platform. Our platform is designed to comply with applicable US federal and state regulations, including:
- California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA)
- Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA)
- Colorado Privacy Act (CPA)
- Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA)
- CAN-SPAM Act (commercial email)
- Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) -- QRZone is not directed to children under 16
13. Changes to Terms
QRZone may update these terms with at least 30 days advance notice. Material changes will be communicated via email and in-platform notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with updated terms, you may terminate your account before the effective date.
