The findings in this report complement our State of QR Codes 2026 annual analysis (which covers total market volumes) and our Consumer QR Behavior Study (which examines motivations and attitudes). This report focuses specifically on observable scan behaviors and measurable performance metrics.

2. Methodology

Data was collected from anonymized scan events on the QRZone platform between January 1 and December 31, 2025. All personally identifiable information was removed prior to analysis. Conversion data was calculated using server-side event tracking with a 30-minute attribution window. The lunch peak accounts for 18% of daily scan volume; the evening peak captures 22%.
